Moving to Jarabacoa? What Life at Seasons Could Look Like

post-img

Start with an ordinary Tuesday. There’s coffee to make, work to finish and groceries to pick up. In Jarabacoa, that same day can end with the windows open to mountain air, or with dinner outside when the weather is right. If you’re thinking about moving to this part of the Dominican Republic, that’s the day worth picturing. And it’s a good place to start when you look at Seasons of Jarabacoa, an apartment project with one-, two- and three-bedroom homes.

What living in Jarabacoa could look like

In the mountains of La Vega province, you can spend Saturday morning at Salto de Baiguate and be back in town for lunch. At La Confluencia, the Yaque del Norte and Jimenoa rivers meet. Rafting on the Yaque makes for a more energetic day, and Jarabacoa has local coffee stops such as Café Monte Alto for a morning with fewer plans. The Dominican Republic’s official tourism guide puts Cibao International Airport in Santiago about an hour away by road.

Before you decide to move, stay through a weekday. Shop where you’d buy groceries. Drive the route you’d use after dark or in the rain. If you work remotely, ask about internet speeds at the address. It takes only a couple of ordinary days to learn whether you’d enjoy the pace year-round or prefer Jarabacoa as a place to spend part of the year.

Which Seasons apartment fits the way you live?

Seasons is worth a visit if you want your own front door and outdoor space, with shared areas cared for as part of the community. Start by choosing the room you’d miss most. Would you use a second bedroom as an office with a door you can close? Do friends or family visit often enough to need their own bathroom? Would you eat outdoors most evenings?

  • One bedroom, from US$149,000. About 75 m² of gross interior space and a 4.5 m² balcony. Start here if you want a simpler home base and tend to spend your free time out in town or on the trails.

  • Two bedrooms, from US$219,000. A 110 m² interior, two bathrooms and a 4.5 m² balcony. The second room gives you somewhere to work, host guests or leave a project set up between weekends.

  • Three bedrooms, from US$269,000. A 135 m² corner apartment with three bathrooms and a 30 m² wraparound terrace. This is the plan to compare if a table outside and room for company would change how you spend your time at home.

These are the developer’s advertised starting prices as of November 2, 2026. Private outdoor space is measured separately from the gross interior. Seasons lists a refrigerator, gas range, range hood, washer and dryer as included across all three layouts. Compare the official floor plans and included appliances, then confirm the price and availability of the specific home you like.

What to ask when you visit Seasons

The proposed amenities include a pool and terrace, two outdoor tennis courts, a gym and a social club. If you’d count on any of those from day one, ask the team what is scheduled to be ready when your apartment is delivered. Also ask what the monthly fee covers, how internet and utility costs are handled, and whether the home you’re considering gets morning or afternoon sun. An actual floor plan and a visit will tell you more about your daily routine than a gallery can.

Thinking seriously about moving to Jarabacoa? Look at the available floor plans by level and pick two apartments to compare. Then request a visit with the Seasons team. Tell them how you expect to use the home and ask them to walk you through the layout, current price and expected delivery for each unit. Leave enough time afterward to have lunch in town and see how the rest of the day feels.
