Michael Strahan’s 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is up for auction with an odometer showing just 347 miles. The car’s appeal extends beyond its powerful engine: the listing connects a special factory configuration with the former New York Giants star’s number 92.

Bring a Trailer’s listing identifies the car as purchased new by Strahan and carrying serial number 00092 in recognition of his jersey number. The auction was scheduled to close November 5, with bidding still ongoing when this story was prepared on November 2.

The factory details make the provenance concrete

MoparInsiders’ report describes the Dark Green finish, Satin Black exterior graphics and invitation-only Jailbreak 170 program. The individual finish option added $29,995.

A window sticker says the car was built especially for Michael Strahan, while a plaque under the hood identifies the finish as one of one and names him as its owner. Those documents are more specific evidence of the connection than an exterior photograph or a celebrity name in a headline.

The listed equipment includes carbon-fiber wheels, black leather and Alcantara upholstery, and red seatbelts. The seller is offering the car on dealer consignment in Pennsylvania with program documentation, an ownership kit and a clean Montana title.

Why the fuel matters to the horsepower claim

This is the 2023 Demon 170, a specific Challenger model whose headline output depends on fuel. Dodge’s original technical announcement rates the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 at 1,025 horsepower and 945 pound-feet of torque on E85.

Dodge’s published specifications separately list 900 horsepower with premium 91-octane fuel. Quoting only the larger number leaves out a condition that materially changes the output a reader should expect.

The manufacturer also reported an NHRA-certified quarter-mile performance of 8.91 seconds at 151.17 mph. That is a model performance benchmark under the manufacturer’s stated conditions, rather than an independently measured time for the particular auction car.

A listing is a record to read, not a completed sale

MoparInsiders’ coverage places Strahan’s car within the small group of specially finished Jailbreak examples. Its combination of identifiable ownership and factory customization explains why this auction is attracting attention alongside the usual Demon 170 performance figures.

An active bid should be kept separate from a final sale price. Auction timing can also change under last-minute bidding rules, so the listing itself is the reference for the current status.

The car brings together three distinct collector interests: a documented celebrity connection, an unusual factory configuration and very limited recorded use. The auction outcome will show how bidders value that combination, rather than supplying a guaranteed value for every Demon 170.
