Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson went into Dancing with the Stars Disney Night with Season 35’s first perfect score behind them and a very different assignment ahead. A week after turning a Saw-inspired contemporary routine into a 40 out of 40, the pair drew a Mary Poppins jazz number. They’re one of eight couples in ABC’s November 2 lineup, which also includes two team dances and Wicked star Cynthia Erivo as guest judge. All eight DWTS Disney Night songs and dances

Shum and Johnson get a song built around wordplay and quick changes in rhythm. Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa face a different test with a paso doble set to Hamilton’s “Satisfied.” They had the lowest judges’ score on Horror Movie Night among the couples who advanced. Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov and Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy both draw quicksteps, giving viewers a direct comparison of how each pair handles the same dance style. Last week’s scores

• Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov — quickstep to “A Star Is Born” from Hercules.

• Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold — waltz to “I See the Light” from Tangled.

• Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach — samba to “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid.

• Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson — jazz to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins.

• Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy — quickstep to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast.

• Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa — paso doble to “Satisfied” from Hamilton.

• Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas — jive to “You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!” from Peter Pan.

• Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik — contemporary to “Easy As Life” from Aida.

Broadway performer Heather Headley is slated to sing live for both Ali and Wood. Michael James Scott, Kyra Belle Johnson and Rodney Ingram are also on the guest performer list. ABC’s full performance lineup

Who’s on Team Slaytopia and Team Wildcats?

Ali captains Team Slaytopia with Ravnik, Higgins and Ballas, Glenn and Pashkov, and Stiles and Sosa. Host Alfonso Ribeiro joins them for “Zoo” from Zootopia 2. Wood captains Team Wildcats with Arnold, Frech and Karagach, Dewan and Chmerkovskiy, and Shum and Johnson. Co-host Julianne Hough joins that group for “We’re All in This Together” from High School Musical. ABC’s team assignments

Before the broadcast, pro dancer Adele Zaikman said she felt unwell and would miss the opening number. She and partner Conner Leavitt had already been eliminated, so her absence left the eight competing pairs intact. TV Insider’s account of Zaikman’s announcement

Why Disney Night airs on Monday and where to watch

ABC moved Disney Night to Monday, November 2, at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific and 7 p.m. Central, to make room for Tuesday’s midterm election coverage. ABC and Disney+ carry the episode, with next-day streaming on Hulu. ABC restricts voting to the live Eastern and Central broadcast window, even in markets where the episode airs later.
